June Workshop

“In June we had Jennifer and Evadne visit the school and put on a special workshop for some of the students. Jennifer and Evadne have written a book about the experiences of people who moved from the Caribbean to Walsall in the 19050s and 60s. They brought some artefacts and sensory items for the students to experience and explained about how life was for these people.”

On Friday 23 March 2018 we held fundraising event to raise money for both Sport Relief & Friends of Mary Elliot.  We sold cakes and samosas and made lots of tea!   We had staff pupils and volunteers from Aldridge Running Club ride 123 miles on our exercise bike – that’s all the way from the school to Llandudno in Wales!  We raised a total of £312 which will be split between the two charities.  A brilliant day was had by all and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved.
